Kamloops Women’s Outdoor League Division Descriptions:
Competitive Division
A division meant for players who:
- have a good knowledge of the game
- play at a moderate to high skill level and pace
- Slide tacking is allowed
- Game Nights – Mondays and Wednesdays
- Carded/PCL/All-Star/Premier/ Rep/University/College players can ONLY play in this division
Open Division
A division meant for players who:
- have varying levels of abilities
- play at a relaxed to moderate pace
- NO slide tacking allowed, yellow card will be issued.
- Game Nights – Tuesdays and Thursdays
- A 5 year period must pass before a Carded/PCL/All-Star/Premier/Rep/University/College player is deemed as eligible to play in this division.
- Exceptions may be made with a direct proposal to the Board and will be assessed on a case by case basis.
35 + Division
A division meant for players who:
- are 35 years of age as of January 1st of the current year
- wish to play with women closer to their age
- struggle to play at the level required to play in the Competitive or Open divisions for reasons such as injury, age or lack of experience
- NO slide tacking allowed
- No game scores or statistics will be kept
- No player goals will be recorded
- Games are 7 vs 7 played on a smaller field
- 30 minute halves
